A story of rich, popular Beverly Hills high school girls Dionne (Stacy Dash) and Cher (Alicia Silverstone) and their antics. The "New Girl," Tai (Brittany Murphy) shows up looking desperately out of place in full grunge gear and Cher and Dionne immediately take pity and do their best to make her over, unintentionally vaulting her to the height of popularity and edging Cher out of the limelight. Despite the makeover, she's still having feelings for a grunge skateboarder Travis (Breckin Meyer), against the girls' advice; Cher herself is on a quest for love and never seems to look in quite the right places. Will she find it? She won't have to look too far...
