Doug (Michael J. Fox) is the ultimate concierge in the finest hotel in New York City. Doug is famous for his charm and his ability to meet the needs of his guests. As charming as he is he is unable to woo the beautiful Andy (Gabrielle Anwar). Despite daily attempts to win her affection she turns him down because she has a boyfriend. Doug also has a dream and that is to someday to have his own luxury hotel. He has been saving for years but is still short the three million dollars he needs to buy an abandoned hotel. His best hope is Christopher Anthony Higgins) a wealthy businessman who also happens to be Andy’s married boyfriend. Christopher promises Doug the money if he helps him string along Andy. As the deadline for the hotel looms Doug finds himself falling in love with Andy. He is conflicted on whether or not he should pursue the girl and risk everything or please his investor and finally achieve his dream.
