Batman (Adam West) and Robin (Burt Ward) get a tip off that they must save Commodore Schmidlapp who is in trouble on his yacht. They rescue him, after a small incident with an exploding shark. The heroic pair then discover that the tip off was a set up by four of their most powerful enemies, Joker (Cear Romero), Penguin, The Riddler (Frank Gorshin) and Catwoman (Lee Meriweather.) The four of them have formed an evil alliance to finally defeat Batman once and for all, and take over thte world at the same time. The Penguin distracts the heroes by infiltrating the bat cave while the United World Security Council is kidnapped. It is up to Batman and Robin to rescue the council and foil the villains’ dastardly schemes.
