Aggie Cromwell (Debbie Reynolds) suggests to her granddaughter Marnie (Kimberly J. Brown) that Halloween Town needs to have more understanding of monsters. To that end they plan that a variety of monsters attend the local high school to interact with others. This will prove to the principal (Clifton Davis) that vampires, werewolves, pumpkin heads, as well as witches and warlocks, can enjoy extra curricular activities, just like normal high school students. This lesson in tolerance is meant to show that monsters mean no harm. The students create a harmless wax museum for their purposes, but a mysterious group known as the Knights are hunting down the monsters.
