Tessa and Sandy are two completely opposed persons who feel a strong attraction for one another and fall in love, enjoying a beautiful life together. She is a brilliant and passionate activist who sheds light on the inmoral and dubious behavings of the pharmaceutical industry in the Third World, where people, fooled into false illusions, are actually used for massive trials. He is a rather shy and not very ambitious diplomat of the British Foreign Office. When both end up in Africa, what happens to Tessa will change the course of his destiny for good. Sandy will be forced to abandon his undisturbed life to show his undying love for Tessa.
