In this movie, based on the 1960s television spy drama / comedy, agents Emma Peel (Uma Thurman) and John Steed (Ralph Fiennes) find themselves working to outwit the diabolical Sir August de Wynter (Sean Connery) who plans to bend the world to his will by controlling its weather. Peel and Steed have an array of high technology and the full cooperation of Mother and Father (Jim Broadbent and Fiona Shaw) and the Ministry to track de Wynter down, but will de Wynter's henchmen be able to foil the agents and allow de Wynter to achieve his dream? Set design is highly inventive, and colorful, harking back to the 1960s original for inspiration.
