Slevin (Josh Hartnett) is mistaken by a crime lord and ends up in a gang war between two of the cities largest gang leaders, The Rabbi (Ben Kingsley) and The Boss (Morgan Freeman). To pay the debt he allegedly owes, Slevin is hired to kill The Rabbi's son. Meanwhile, the FBI takes notice of Slevin and recruits him to take down both crime bosses. Dramatic twists and love interests bring Slevin's past into the forefront and the infamous "Kansas City Shuffle" is completed with successful revenge in the end.
