Two rival employees work at a large warehouse-type store. One employee (Dane Cook) is the quintessential slacker until a beautiful new cashier Amy (Jessica Simpson) comes to work. It has been rumored that Amy will date and sleep with the Employee of the Month. The second rival employee, a slimy guy, always wins Employee of the Month and it appears will win Amy’s affections. Cook’s character begins to go all out to try to win the title and Amy’s respect. It turns into a frenzied display of a “check-off” to see who is the better employee.
