A crack team of individuals embark on a quest to save a very special lady. This very special lady is Laura Newton (Kristen Bell). She seems to be the perfect match for Robert Scott (Val Kilmer) a secret agent for the United States government who leaves a post as a training officer of an elite fighting force, the special forces to search for her. Along the way he assembles a team to help him acclomplish his mission, including one of his trainees (Derek Luke), and one of his fellow training officers specializing in knife fighting to join him, Jackie Black (Tia Texada). Their journey takes them all over the world.
