The Banger Sisters revolves around ex-groupie Suzette (Goldie Hawn) and her old friend, and fellow ex-groupie Vinnie (Susan Sarandon). When Suzette looses her job at the Whiskey a Go-Go, she decides to take off and see what her old friend Vinnie is up to. She's in for a bit of a shock when she finds that Vinnie is now Lavinia and is living a calm and quiet life with her husband and children in suburbia. Lavinia at first wants nothing to do with Suzette and her memories of the past, but eventually she begins to loosen up and remember just how much fun it was to let go. Lavinia's family is shocked by Suzette and the implications that their mother was ever anything other than perfect. At the end, the lesson is learned that no one is perfect, and that you should always accept people for who they are.
