Charlie (Mary-Kate Olsen) and her sister Leila (Ashley Olsen) head for Rome, Italy, as working young women. They will be interns for the summer in the world of entertainment and worldwide fashion. They gather with several more international interns in an attempt to learn more about business. They also value material items and find some time to shop, see the sights, and find romance. They have some problems in their workplace, like a mean co-worker and a difficult boss. The interns also try to find out who the criminal is in the company because they want to expose this person.
