Gabriel Shear, leader of a covert counter-terrorist group, wants to steal 49.5 billion from a dummy corporation the DEA set up and use it to start a war against international terrorism. Stanley Jobson is a convicted hacker, forbidden to even touch a computer keyboard. When Gabriel sends Ginger Knowles to convince him to help them hack into a secure and super-encrypted government mainframe to steal billions of dollars, he says no. Until they raise the stakes by reminding him about his daughter, Holly, who is currently living with her mom and her new husband who produces porn. But with the money they would pay him, he would be able to rescue his daughter. Stanley joins the covert counter-terrorist unit and gets back into a life he thought he had left far behind.
