Diane Barrow (Delta Burke) seems like an unlikely owner for a football team. She's a young and sexy but vain and old-fashioned girl who doesn't know or really care much about the game. She won ownership of the perpetually struggling California Bulls from her husband in her divorce settlement, after he was caught in bed with Ty Taylor (Rick Moser), an openly gay Bulls player. Now she's going to have to learn how to deal with her players, and they're going to have to learn how to deal with her. And she'll have to outsmart her ambitious nephew Roger (Clayton Landley), who won't hesitate to use underhanded means to get rid of her.
